Hey, there!!

I met up with Cherrish this morning to work on my pencil skirt some more. I installed the zipper and now have to hem the skirt (Cherrish showed me how to do a blind hem by machine). Truthfully, I was supposed to have the skirt finished a while ago, but I kept putting it off. Hey, I'm human; I know I'm not the only person out here who procrastinates. It happens to the best of us. But I'm slowly learning to really tackle my projects head on to get them finished as soon as I possibly can.

Think about it. The longer you put something off, the less likely you are to want to complete the project. You'll grow sick and tired of seeing the project instead of wanting to finish it. As much as I want to, I can't use the fact that I have a part-time job as an excuse. It's just a part-time job, and currently is my only job. So I need to really use my free time wisely to focus on the things I should be focusing on.

Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the next project I will take on under Cherrish's guidance. She definitely has been patient and helpful with me as far as sewing is concerned!!
