Hey there!!
Just as I did a review for my top 3 favorite Spring 2016 menswear collections for the Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week, I also want to share my list of my top 3 favorite Spring/Summer 2016 women's wear collections. Again, I want to mention that I do not own any of these pictures posted here in this post. I found the images on sites such as Vogue that keep track of NYFW.
So my 3rd favorite women's wear collection is....Badgley Mischka!!

I love he classy silhouettes of this collection. The designs are very elegant and sophisticated, suitable for many women to wear. Some of dresses were strapless, one-shoulder, or had v-shaped necklines. I love the close-fit as well as the flare of the dresses in the collection.
Coming in at number 2, another favorite women's collection was that of Hervé Léger!!

First off, I like the fact that this collection not only had dresses, but also two-piece sets and jumpsuits. I noticed that this collection has a lot of line and angle detailing in the designs, whether it was created by the seam, the fabric print, or beading. Speaking of which, the beading and embellishments helped to create texture within some of the designs, which is what captured my attention in the first place.
Last but not least, my top favorite Spring 2016 women's collection is by Reem Acra!!!!

The main reason why I love this collection so much is because it is so very ethnic-inspired and full of bold colors. Quite a few of the dresses and two-piece sets had caftan-like tops, evident in the borders on the necklines. Many of the fabrics used probabaly included satin, silk, lae, chiffon, tafetta/tulle, and organza. Another common trait in this collection was the use of a sash or belt. The embellishments and embroidery also is what made this collection catch my eye.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this post!! Please let me know what your favorite women's Spring 2016 collections were as well in the comments below!!
