This was my first original fashion illustration. It is a aquamarine dress with a gold, keyhole bodice, and a gold belt. The skirt portion of this dress has a hi-low hem.
This was my first time drawing plus-size women. The look on the left is of a strapless dress with an empire waist sash. The dress color transitions from pink to purple. Pink leggings are worn underneath. The look on the right is a dress as well with a scalloped neckline. The color transitions from light blue to dark blue.
This light green, ankle-length dress is very simple. It has a frilly pink filler at neckline and a matching sash at the waist. Gold beads hang from the front of the sash, an embellishment that would remind one of gypsies.
This two-piece set has a black top with a pink inset where lacing is. The front of this top is waist-length, but the back is a long train. The skirt is red with multiple tiers.
I wanted to challenge myself and take a guess on what I thought would be fashionable in the future. This dress is purple, white, and pink. The neckline is off-the-shoulder and overlaps in the front. The white portion covers the torso but has cut-outs on the sides and gold detail on center front. The pink fabric forms a belt at the waist, and skirt portion is full.
This is a simple green halter dress. The halter portion is of wooden beads. The front of the dress has a pink fabric flower and there are pockets on the sides. The bubble hem has a band at the bottom.
I have never done an asymmetrical dress before, so I decided I should try my hand at it. This turquoise dress has black swirly detail on the torso, and the hem is mid-thigh on one side but ends at the knee on the opposite side.
This green strapless dress is ruched in the bust area and has a pink sash at empire waist. The dress has a lighter green underlay that is patterned with pink hearts.

In my apparel structures class, we had to make an outfit based on a circus theme (see the garments section for the final look). Inspired by the trapeze, this look consists of a pink bralette that has decorative buttons down center front. The top is paired with a two-tier denim skirt with pockets and a bow on the waistband.
Also inspired by the trapeze, look 2 for the Circus theme collection has a purple tube top with a ruffle. The black bubble skirt has a rope along the waistband, pockets, and layered ruffles on the side.
Inspired by the ring leader, look 3 for the circus collection has a white strapless bustier with a black bow in the center and gold trim along the bottom. The black and red pencil skirt resembles that of a ring leader's coat, with gold trim detail and coat tails in the back.
Inspired by a clown, look 4 has a red one-shoulder crop top. The top is paired with a colorful skirt. The skirt has a rainbow stripe peplum that extends from the waistband, while the body of the skirt is polka-dotted. The hem of the skirt is a ruffle with a pink ribbon in the middle.
At the University of Delaware's Spring fashion show, there is a category called Blank Canvas that has a theme associated with it. The year before I graduated, the theme was to make a garment inspired by a rock. My rock was hematite. Look 1 is a gray sheath dress with a Mandarin collar, cap sleeves, and a slit on the side. The bust area has silver sequins, as well as the panel on the side opposite the slit.
